How to get started in Forex - A comprehensive guide for newbies
Almost every day people come to this subreddit asking the same basic questions over and over again. I've put this guide together to point you in the right direction and help you get started on your forex journey. A quick background on me before you ask: My name is Bob, I'm based out of western Canada. I started my forex journey back in January 2018 and am still learning. However I am trading live, not on demo accounts. I also code my own EA's. I not certified, licensed, insured, or even remotely qualified as a professional in the finance industry. Nothing I say constitutes financial advice. Take what I'm saying with a grain of salt, but everything I've outlined below is a synopsis of some tough lessons I've learned over the last year of being in this business. LET'S GET SOME UNPLEASANTNESS OUT OF THE WAY I'm going to call you stupid. I'm also going to call you dumb. I'm going to call you many other things. I do this because odds are, you are stupid, foolish, and just asking to have your money taken away. Welcome to the 95% of retail traders. Perhaps uneducated or uninformed are better phrases, but I've never been a big proponent of being politically correct. Want to get out of the 95% and join the 5% of us who actually make money doing this? Put your grown up pants on, buck up, and don't give me any of this pc "This is hurting my feelings so I'm not going to listen to you" bullshit that the world has been moving towards. Let's rip the bandage off quickly on this point - the world does not give a fuck about you. At one point maybe it did, it was this amazing vision nicknamed the American Dream. It died an agonizing, horrible death at the hand of capitalists and entrepreneurs. The world today revolves around money. Your money, my money, everybody's money. People want to take your money to add it to theirs. They don't give a fuck if it forces you out on the street and your family has to live in cardboard box. The world just stopped caring in general. It sucks, but it's the way the world works now. Welcome to the new world order. It's called Capitalism. And here comes the next hard truth that you will need to accept - Forex is a cruel bitch of a mistress. She will hurt you. She will torment you. She will give you nightmares. She will keep you awake at night. And then she will tease you with a glimmer of hope to lure you into a false sense of security before she then guts you like a fish and shows you what your insides look like. This statement applies to all trading markets - they are cruel, ruthless, and not for the weak minded. The sooner you accept these truths, the sooner you will become profitable. Don't accept it? That's fine. Don't bother reading any further. If I've offended you I don't give a fuck. You can run back home and hide under your bed. The world doesn't care and neither do I. For what it's worth - I am not normally an major condescending asshole like the above paragraphs would suggest. In fact, if you look through my posts on this subreddit you will see I am actually quite helpful most of the time to many people who come here. But I need you to really understand that Forex is not for most people. It will make you cry. And if the markets themselves don't do it, the people in the markets will. LESSON 1 - LEARN THE BASICS Save yourself and everybody here a bunch of time - learn the basics of forex. You can learn the basics for free - BabyPips has one of the best free courses online which explains what exactly forex is, how it works, different strategies and methods of how to approach trading, and many other amazing topics. You can access the BabyPips course by clicking this link: https://www.babypips.com/learn/forex Do EVERY course in the School of Pipsology. It's free, it's comprehensive, and it will save you from a lot of trouble. It also has the added benefit of preventing you from looking foolish and uneducated when you come here asking for help if you already know this stuff. If you still have questions about how forex works, please see the FREE RESOURCES links on the /Forex FAQ which can be found here: https://www.reddit.com/Forex/wiki/index Quiz Time Answer these questions truthfully to yourself: -What is the difference between a market order, a stop order, and a limit order? -How do you draw a support/resistance line? (Demonstrate it to yourself) -What is the difference between MACD, RSI, and Stochastic indicators? -What is fundamental analysis and how does it differ from technical analysis and price action trading? -True or False: It's better to have a broker who gives you 500:1 margin instead of 50:1 margin. Be able to justify your reasoning. If you don't know to answer to any of these questions, then you aren't ready to move on. Go back to the School of Pipsology linked above and do it all again. If you can answer these questions without having to refer to any kind of reference then congratulations, you are ready to move past being a forex newbie and are ready to dive into the wonderful world of currency trading! Move onto Lesson 2 below. LESSON 2 - RANDOM STRANGERS ARE NOT GOING TO HELP YOU GET RICH IN FOREX This may come as a bit of a shock to you, but that random stranger on instagram who is posting about how he is killing it on forex is not trying to insprire you to greatness. He's also not trying to help you. He's also not trying to teach you how to attain financial freedom. 99.99999% of people posting about wanting to help you become rich in forex are LYING TO YOU. Why would such nice, polite people do such a thing? Because THEY ARE TRYING TO PROFIT FROM YOUR STUPIDITY. Plain and simple. Here's just a few ways these "experts" and "gurus" profit from you:
Referral Links - If they require you to click a specific link to signup for something, it means they are an affiliate. They get a commission from whatever the third party is that they are sending you to. I don't care if it's a brokerage, training program, hell even an Amazon link to a book - if they insist you have to click their super exclusive, can't-get-this-deal-any-other-way-but-clicking-my-link type bullshit, it's an affiliate link. There is nothing inherently wrong with affiliate programs, but you are literally generating money for some stranger because they convinced you to buy something. Some brokers such as ICMarkets have affiliate programs that payout a percentage of the commission you generate - this is a really clever system - whether you profit or blow your entire account, the person who referred you to the broker makes a profit off you. Clever eh?
Signal Services, Education & Training Programs, Courses - If somebody is telling you they are making a killing with a signal service and are trying to convince you to join it, I guarantee they are getting a piece of your monthly fee. And better still, these signal services often work...for about a week. Just long enough to suck a bunch of poor fools into it. You see people making money, you want in so you agree to pay the $200+/month subscription fee. You follow the signals and it looks like it's making money for a few days or weeks. Then it turns sideways, you start losing money hand over fist. Pretty soon you have lost most of your trading account because you blindly followed a signal service. And better still - when you go screaming at the person running the signal service they will be very quick to point you to their No Refunds policy. To add insult to injury, the buttfucker that referred you to the signal service in the past will likely listen to you getting mad, and then come back with something like "Sorry it didn't work out, but I just joined this other amazing service and it's working great, you should come join it to earn your money back. Here's my link..." You get the point here right?
Multi-Level Marketing (MLMs) - These people are scum. They are going to offer you training and education, signals, access to forex experts and gurus, and all kinds of other shit with the promise that you will live the dream and become financially free. They are also loading you into a pyrmaid scheme where you will be hounded to recruit other people and make money off them just like you got roped into it. A really prime example here is iMarkets Live (or IML for short). Don't touch this shit with a 10 foot pole. I don't care what they are claiming, you will lose everything using them.
Fund Managers - These people make my skin crawl. It's a classic scam and it works like this - somebody will post online about how much money they are making trading forex/commodities/stocks/whatever. Most of the time they won't explicitly post they are offering a trading service, rather they just put the message out there and wait for the ignorant masses (that's you) to contact them. They will charm you. They will lie to you. They will promise you the moon if you simply wire them some money or give them API access to your trading account. Care to guess what happens next? If you send a wire transfer (or Western Union...hell any kind of payment to them) they will vanish. Happens usually after they take a bunch of suckers for the ride. You sent them $2,000 and so do 9 other suckers. They just made $20,000 and are gone. With API access to your account, you will find your account gets blown super fast or worse - possibly leaving you open to persecution by the broker you are using.
These are just a few examples. The reality is that very few people make it big in forex or any kind of trading. If somebody is trying to sell you the dream, they are essentially a magician - making you look the other way while they snatch your wallet and clean you out. Additionally, on the topic of fund managers - legitimate fund managers will be certified, licensed, and insured. Ask them for proof of those 3 things. What they typically look like are:
Certified - This varies from country to country, in the US it's FINRA (http://www.finra.org). They need to have their Series 7 certification minimum. You can make the case that other FINRA certifications are acceptable in lieu of Series 7, but the 7 is the gold standard.
Licensed - They need to have a valid business license issued by the government. It must clearly state they are an investment company, preferrably a hedge fund because they have some super strict requirements to operate (and often require $25,000+ in fees just to get their business license, so you know they at least have some skin in the game).
Insured - They need to be backed by an insurance company. I'm not talking general insurance for shit like their office burning down. I'm talking about a government-implemented protection insurance program - in the US I believe that is issued by the Securities Investment Protection Corporation (https://www.sipc.org/).
If you are talking to a fund manager and they are insisting they have all of these, get a copy of their verification documents and lookup their licenses on the directories of the issuers to verify they are valid. If they are, then at least you are talking to somebody who seems to have their shit together and is doing investment management and trading as a professional and you are at least partially protected when the shit hits the fan. LESSON 3 - UNDERSTAND YOUR RISK Many people jump into Forex, drop $2000 into a broker account and start trading 1 lot orders because they signed up with a broker thinking they will get rich because they were given 500:1 margin and can risk it all on each trade. Worst-case scenario you lose your account, best case scenario you become a millionaire very quickly. Seems like a pretty good gamble right? You are dead wrong. As a new trader, you should never risk more than 1% of your account balance on a trade. If you have some experience and are confident and doing well, then it's perfectly natural to risk 2-3% of your account per trade. Anybody who risks more than 4-5% of their account on a single trade deserves to blow their account. At that point you aren't trading, you are gambling. Don't pretend you are a trader when really you are just putting everything on red and hoping the roulette ball lands in the right spot. It's stupid and reckless and going to screw you very quickly. Let's do some math here: You put $2,000 into your trading account. Risking 1% means you are willing to lose $20 per trade. That means you are going to be trading micro lots, or 0.01 lots most likely ($0.10/pip). At that level you can have a trade stop loss at -200 pips and only lose $20. It's the best starting point for anybody. Additionally, if you SL 20 trades in a row you are only down $200 (or 10% of your account) which isn't that difficult to recover from. Risking 3% means you are willing to lose $60 per trade. You could do mini lots at this point, which is 0.1 lots (or $1/pip). Let's say you SL on 20 trades in a row. You've just lost $1,200 or 60% of your account. Even veteran traders will go through periods of repeat SL'ing, you are not a special snowflake and are not immune to periods of major drawdown. Risking 5% means you are willing to lose $100 per trade. SL 20 trades in a row, your account is blown. As Red Foreman would call it - Good job dumbass. Never risk more than 1% of your account on any trade until you can show that you are either consistently breaking even or making a profit. By consistently, I mean 200 trades minimum. You do 200 trades over a period of time and either break-even or make a profit, then you should be alright to increase your risk. Unfortunately, this is where many retail traders get greedy and blow it. They will do 10 trades and hit their profit target on 9 of them. They will start seeing huge piles of money in their future and get greedy. They will start taking more risk on their trades than their account can handle. 200 trades of break-even or profitable performance risking 1% per trade. Don't even think about increasing your risk tolerance until you do it. When you get to this point, increase you risk to 2%. Do 1,000 trades at this level and show break-even or profit. If you blow your account, go back down to 1% until you can figure out what the hell you did differently or wrong, fix your strategy, and try again. Once you clear 1,000 trades at 2%, it's really up to you if you want to increase your risk. I don't recommend it. Even 2% is bordering on gambling to be honest. LESSON 4 - THE 500 PIP DRAWDOWN RULE This is a rule I created for myself and it's a great way to help protect your account from blowing. Sometimes the market goes insane. Like really insane. Insane to the point that your broker can't keep up and they can't hold your orders to the SL and TP levels you specified. They will try, but during a flash crash like we had at the start of January 2019 the rules can sometimes go flying out the window on account of the trading servers being unable to keep up with all the shit that's hitting the fan. Because of this I live by a rule I call the 500 Pip Drawdown Rule and it's really quite simple - Have enough funds in your account to cover a 500 pip drawdown on your largest open trade. I don't care if you set a SL of -50 pips. During a flash crash that shit sometimes just breaks. So let's use an example - you open a 0.1 lot short order on USDCAD and set the SL to 50 pips (so you'd only lose $50 if you hit stoploss). An hour later Trump makes some absurd announcement which causes a massive fundamental event on the market. A flash crash happens and over the course of the next few minutes USDCAD spikes up 500 pips, your broker is struggling to keep shit under control and your order slips through the cracks. By the time your broker is able to clear the backlog of orders and activity, your order closes out at 500 pips in the red. You just lost $500 when you intended initially to only risk $50. It gets kinda scary if you are dealing with whole lot orders. A single order with a 500 pip drawdown is $5,000 gone in an instant. That will decimate many trader accounts. Remember my statements above about Forex being a cruel bitch of a mistress? I wasn't kidding. Granted - the above scenario is very rare to actually happen. But glitches to happen from time to time. Broker servers go offline. Weird shit happens which sets off a fundamental shift. Lots of stuff can break your account very quickly if you aren't using proper risk management. LESSON 5 - UNDERSTAND DIFFERENT TRADING METHODOLOGIES Generally speaking, there are 3 trading methodologies that traders employ. It's important to figure out what method you intend to use before asking for help. Each has their pros and cons, and you can combine them in a somewhat hybrid methodology but that introduces challenges as well. In a nutshell:
Price Action Trading (Sometimes called Naked Trading) is very effective at identifying when trends will start and finish. This gives you the advantage of staying ahead of the market and predicting when a change in trend direction will occur. It has the disadvantage of being really easy to screw it up if you don't plot your support and resistance lines properly and interpret the chart wrong. Because you can identify a change in trend direction, you'll generally make more profit on a new trend than a technical strategy will.
Technical Analytics (or TA) uses math and statistics to try and identify where the market is headed or confirm/reject whether a trend is happening. It has the advantage of being very math and stat driven which is hard to refute the numbers, but it has the disadvantage of being late to the party when it comes to identifying trends (hence why people call TA a lagging strategy). When people fail using TA, it's not because of the math - it's because you misinterpreted what the math is telling you.
Fundamental Analysis (or FA) uses news and macro scale events to predict what is going on. A really good example right now is Brexit, what a clusterfuck that is. Every time some major brexit news breaks it causes all sorts of choas in almost every currency pair. Fundamental trading has the highest potential profitability per trade but it also has the highest potential drawdown per trade.
Now you may be thinking that you want to be a a price action trader - you should still learn the principles and concepts behind TA and FA. Same if you are planning to be a technical trader - you should learn about price action and fundamental analysis. More knowledge is better, always. With regards to technical analysis, you need to really understand what the different indicators are tell you. It's very easy to misinterpret what an indicator is telling you, which causes you to make a bad trade and lose money. It's also important to understand that every indicator can be tuned to your personal preferences. You might find, for example, that using Bollinger Bands with the normal 20 period SMA close, 2 standard deviation is not effective for how you look at the chart, but changing that to say a 20 period EMA average price, 1 standard deviation bollinger band indicator could give you significantly more insight. LESSON 6 - TIMEFRAMES MATTER Understanding the differences in which timeframes you trade on will make or break your chosen strategy. Some strategies work really well on Daily timeframes (i.e. Ichimoku) but they fall flat on their face if you use them on 1H timeframes, for example. There is no right or wrong answer on what timeframe is best to trade on. Generally speaking however, there are 2 things to consider:
Speed - If you are scalping (trading on the really fast candles like 1M, 5M, 15M, etc) odds are your trades are very short lived. Maybe 10 minutes to an hour tops. For the most part, scalping strategies will produce little profit per trade but make up for it in the sheer volume of trades. Whereas swing trading may only make a few trades but each one could be worth a significant amount of money.
Spread (the fee you pay to the broker when you trade) - If you are a scalper, the spread is your worst enemy because you have to overcome it very fast to make a profit on your order. Whereas swing trading the spread hardly impacts you at all.
If you are a total newbie to forex, I suggest you don't trade on anything shorter than the 1H timeframe when you are first learning. Trading on higher timeframes tends to be much more forgiving and profitable per trade. Scalping is a delicate art and requires finesse and can be very challenging when you are first starting out. LESSON 7 - AUTOBOTS...ROLL OUT! Yeah...I'm a geek and grew up with the Transformers franchise decades before Michael Bay came along. Deal with it. Forex bots are called EA's (Expert Advisors). They can be wonderous and devastating at the same time. /Forex is not really the best place to get help with them. That is what /algotrading is useful for. However some of us that lurk on /Forex code EA's and will try to assist when we can. Anybody can learn to code an EA. But just like how 95% of retail traders fail, I would estimate the same is true for forex bots. Either the strategy doesn't work, the code is buggy, or many other reasons can cause EA's to fail. Because EA's can often times run up hundreds of orders in a very quick period of time, it's critical that you test them repeatedly before letting them lose on a live trading account so they don't blow your account to pieces. You have been warned. If you want to learn how to code an EA, I suggest you start with MQL. It's a programming language which can be directly interpretted by Meta Trader. The Meta Trader terminal client even gives you a built in IDE for coding EA's in MQL. The downside is it can be buggy and glitchy and caused many frustrating hours of work to figure out what is wrong. If you don't want to learn MQL, you can code an EA up in just about any programming language. Python is really popular for forex bots for some reason. But that doesn't mean you couldn't do it in something like C++ or Java or hell even something more unusual like JQuery if you really wanted. I'm not going to get into the finer details of how to code EA's, there are some amazing guides out there. Just be careful with them. They can be your best friend and at the same time also your worst enemy when it comes to forex. One final note on EA's - don't buy them. Ever. Let me put this into perspective - I create an EA which is literally producing money for me automatically 24/5. If it really is a good EA which is profitable, there is no way in hell I'm selling it. I'm keeping it to myself to make a fortune off of. EA's that are for sale will not work, will blow your account, and the developer who coded it will tell you that's too darn bad but no refunds. Don't ever buy an EA from anybody. LESSON 8 - BRING ON THE HATERS You are going to find that this subreddit is frequented by trolls. Some of them will get really nasty. Some of them will threaten you. Some of them will just make you miserable. It's the price you pay for admission to the /Forex club. If you can't handle it, then I suggest you don't post here. Find a more newbie-friendly site. It sucks, but it's reality. We often refer to trolls on this subreddit as shitcunts. That's your word of the day. Learn it, love it. Shitcunts. YOU MADE IT, WELCOME TO FOREX! If you've made it through all of the above and aren't cringing or getting scared, then welcome aboard the forex train! You will fit in nicely here. Ask your questions and the non-shitcunts of our little corner of reddit will try to help you. Assuming this post doesn't get nuked and I don't get banned for it, I'll add more lessons to this post over time. Lessons I intend to add in the future:
Why you will blow your first account and what to do when it happens
Trading Psychology (this will be a beefy one and will take a while to put together)
Exotics vs Majors and which you should focus on as a newbie (aka how to blow your account in a single trade with exotics)
Why XRP will hit $100 as a minimum upon full adoption.
This is just my current analysis, do not, repeat, do not take it as investment advice, do your own research. Let’s picture the scene in 3 years in which XRP is now dominating half of the FOREX payment volume, so around $2.5tn per day. Market makers and exchanges decide the price based upon buy/sell orders. To the bank or payment processor it doesn’t matter what the price of XRP is, as long as there is enough liquidity to perform their transactions. xRapid executes the buy order at the start, and then places a buy order at the destination at current market rates, puts them both in to escrow to secure, then settles it for both parties, all in 1 second. You’re a market maker, a retail investor, you have XRP and are on an exchange with your XRP, and set a level at which you want to sell your XRP. This is where the banks and payment processors source their liquidity. As things stand right now there’s about $300,000,000 volume per day on the XRP ledger. You have to place your buy/sell orders in accordance with the volume of trade taking place. Volume = demand. If there is no volume, it means there isn’t much demand at the current price. So we can see that volume dictates the price. You have to lower your price to be attractive to buyers. Now, in this fictitious 3 years time you’ve instead got a guaranteed daily volume in the trillions of dollars, no matter what the price of XRP is as the buyers don’t care, you’ve got guaranteed buyers. Everyone decides to place their sell orders at 2x the current price because they absolutely know that it will be bought, as the buyer doesn’t care what the price is, as long as they can conduct their transaction. So what mechanism is there in place to prevent the market deciding that 0.0000000001XRP is worth $1bn? Volume and demand. If too many people place high buy/sell orders then the ability to sell them is reduced because there isn’t enough volume to support every coin available selling at such a high level, so the price retreats to a stable level where every buyer or seller is virtually guaranteed to buy/sell based on the volume available, spread amongst the market makers. So, the hard math. 100bn XRP divided by $5tn volume = $50 per coin, and assuming every coin is in the circulating supply, at half FOREX current daily trade volume. We can assume this as a minimum at 50% adoption, but that does not take in to account XRP in offline wallets, whales, and not in the liquid supply. If we assume full adoption of FOREX, then we can double that to $100 before taking in to account offline XRP, HODLers, etc. This also excludes other use cases such as domestic payments. Cobalt will be faster, cheaper and more reliable than VISA’s current payment volume in domestic markets, so there are inroads there for XRP too, assuming VISA don’t attempt to clone the format. So, in my opinion, at full adoption, $100 per XRP will ultimately be the lowest value of XRP. Taking in to account offline wallets, speculative investments, other use cases, coin burn, fomo etc, I think it’s then going to be up to investors when to decide to cash out as it’s going to push it up further, but far too many variables to even begin to understand this early in the game. I don’t see $1000+ per XRP as being impossible, but I do think expectations at that level are extremely risky if you’re planning that point as your exit strategy. If your exit strategy is $100 I think it’s a safe bet, anything above that will be up to investors to decide when to pull it out, because if everyone pulls out at the same time the volatility might kick in just as it has with BTC in recent weeks. On a personal note I’m fully bullish for $100+, and again this is just my personal analysis. Anything can happen, regulation might kill it, hacks might screw with it, another global recession might be around the corner, expensive natural disasters, you get the idea. HODL.

Photo: https://imgur.com/nGue1GI STORY So my parents had recently bought a new flat and we were thinking of moving there. I always wanted a desktop PC in my room but because of the current room's small size and the fact that I had to share it with my brother I was not able to do that. In the new place, I would have my own room so the dream of building a PC which seemed distant before now was a real possibility and it made me really excited. I had been using an HP omen 2017 with a GTX 1050 for gaming previously but I really wanted to experience 1080p 144hz gaming, especially games like PUBG. So I began my research on the hardware and started making a PC part list. THE GPU STORY: Meanwhile, a really good friend of mine was on a trip to the USA and told me that he was buying a second-hand GTX 1080 for himself. I seized this opportunity to convince my friend to help me out and arrange another second-hand GTX 1080 for me as well. He finally pulled it through and got me the first piece of my computer. This costed me around 25k as after the conversion charges and all. He got it for $350. Got an iCX model for me and ACX 3.0 model for himself. The pair together looked so cool. Gotta admit, the Americans really keep their tech clean. https://imgur.com/pvQYyA3 Comparing this to the prices in India just reminded me how sweet the deal was. Though checking prices for other PC parts got my josh to a stop. Though it was high again when I got to know that another friend doing his MS from the US was soon going to come to India on vacations. So back to the PC partpicker website we were. and the research took a full swing. THE CPU STORY: As my primary use of the desktop was gaming (and maybe streaming later), I started with an i5 8600k processor but quickly changed it to R7 2700 as it came with a stock cooler and paste. In an attempt to save money on an already expensive build. I was saving at least 12k on CPU, ram, and motherboard by sourcing them from America. The rates here are pathetic. Soon we got the news that the 9th gen processors would soon be releasing but seeing intel's stocks history, we decided not to wait for them. The 9900K had launched but it was really out of the budget. Watching reviews from the tech Jesus from GamersNexus it was clear that i5 was shitty when it came to streaming and gaming. and an R7 2700 needed around 1.4V to get a 4.2Ghz all core OC stable which could get us within 10 percent of the 8700k. I later decided to change the CPU to the x version of 2700 because of the beefy stock cooler and better binning which i thought would let me reach 4.2 all core OC without a problem with a price increase of just $50 that is around 3.5k. Chose an ASUS x470 motherboard to go along with this as it has a 6 phase VRM which we heard is really important when overclocking an 8 core 16 thread processor like the 2700X. I later read that the OC on 2700x did not improve gaming performance by much as the XFR was doing its thing really well. So, I thought of saving some cash on the motherboard by pairing it with an MSI B450 motherboard. This was also considering the weather conditions in India might not have allowed me to keep my 8 core CPU running OC 4.2 on all cores. Then came the black Friday idea and rates. This brought back the i7 8700k back to the equation again. This was because i was thinking of getting a 144hz panel and higher frame rates were easier on an i7 with a decent OC. Plus I really wanted to experiment with overclocking for fun. The 8700K was also suggested for gaming in many end of the year CPU reviews like LTTs and GamersNexus. The 8700K provided best streamer side fps while shelling out good viewer side performance for realistic encoding bitrates. And I felt I would not really utilize the 8 core 16 threads advantages on my desktop. Set a budget of $650 for the CPU, RAM, and SSD as their sizes were small and my friend could easily get those in his luggage. the final run: Shifted a lot between the 2700x and the 8700k but went for the 8700k in the end for OC adventure, better gaming, and streaming(streamer side fps) performance, and better resale value. The decision was easier as I was getting it for 25k rather than the 40k price point in India. I got the processor for $340. Linus also had recommended the 8700k when it came to price to performance numbers. The ratio bettered when the black Friday sale rates were applied to them. Saved some money on the ram as well, going with a 16GB 3000mHz kit (got it for $100 on the sale) rather than something more which is essential for Ryzen. So, finally bought CPU: i7 8700K $360 RAM: 16GB 3000mHz Ram $100 SSD: 2.5" 860 EVO 500GB SSD $65 total: around 40,000 INR for CPU, RAM, and SSD. (Exchange rate was 73.23, used a FOREX card to place the orders) BACK TO BASICS: NEHRU PLACE No Indian build is complete without travel to the hardware paradise known as Nehru place. MOTHERBOARD: MSI z3700- 11K Der8auer suggested the MSI z370 board as it is cheap and can overclock decently. Went with this, no fight here. CPU COOLER: Coolermaster ma620P- 4k a very beefy cooler. A cooler enough to cool down a 5Ghz OC on an i7 8700K without needing to void the warranty on the chip to change the IHS thermal paste. High on LTT forum's tier wise list for CPU coolers. Almost among the best when it comes to price to performance ratio of air coolers in India. Hyper 212 EVO would not have been able to cool 5Ghz OC down. MONITOR: Went with an LG 24GM79G 144hz 1080p monitor. -20.5K The cheapest and most color accurate TN panel with the best contrast ratios and brightness levels. PSU and CASE: Coolermaster MB500 for case.- 5k A good budget case with 3 stock RGB fans and dust filters. Antec 650w PSU- 4.5k Semi modular. Who needs modular? hehe. Side photo: https://imgur.com/pgcTumV OC ADVENTURE: This was the thing that was the most exciting and fun aspect of this build. After getting the bios, the drivers and the windows update, we got to work. I will be sharing snips of my trials of various settings that I experimented with and just mention the most stable settings here. The settings that I have it running now with absolutely zero problems. I hope this data helps. CPU and RAM: https://imgur.com/ygc2Y2U stable at 5,000mhz all core boost at 1.35V. LLC level 4 with prime95 stable. Max temps reaching around 85 degrees and max power consumption around 160W. AVX offset off. Memory OC, unfortunately, didn't work and I didn't wish to spend a ton of time messing with the timings and the sub timings of the RAM as it would not have lead to a noticeable change in gaming performance. First, I was not trying for small ftts to be stable in prime95 but due to games like PUBG crashing in the middle of matches, I had to increase my voltages to gain the 5Ghz OC that I wanted. note- the performance measurements are not linear as there were some windows updates with patches that decreased the CPU performance by a bit. The temps were recorded while cinebench was rendering. Used Intel burn test for the first pass and the second pass was the prime95 small ffts test. I think I was lucky with this chip and I think I can achieve an easy stable 5.1 if I delid it. GPU: https://imgur.com/FYQlpMW MSI afterburner was used. Final OC was a manual curve modifier with freqs at max voltage reaching 2100 mhz on the core. The power consumption was 220W peak with max temps reaching only a meager 70 degrees in the uniengine heaven bench. power limit was set to 120% and voltage increased to the max. the fans autoed around 55 and the card didn't sound to be that loud. Achieved a score of 3800 on uniengine ultra default settings. COLOR: monitor color settings if anyone is interested. Found it extremely hard to find good color settings on this panel. https://imgur.com/eULWElE B means brightness, C contrast, G gamma. on the right are the monitor color settings with contrast and brightness set to 100. Lessons learned: Using this system has been really fun. I won my first PUBG solo game on this system. I am really glad that I got to build this system, but there are some learning takeaways and personal suggestions that I would like to share with you guys.
The difference between 120hz and 144hz is hardly noticeable. So, a R5 2600 would have been enough to be really honest. I am talking about the perceptual difference and not the difference that the FPS numbers show on the screen. Please save some money and go for a cheaper CPU.
Colors on a TN panel are actually quite disheartening and only go for such a panel if you will mostly play competitive games on your system.
Do not go for an x series CPU if you want to go with AMD. Overclocking is very simple and you can save money by just investing very little time and energy. I did not believe that when I was buying the components but I sure believe it now.
Prime95 small ffts stability is not essential. Intel burn test imo is enough for stability testing the CPU. If the intel burn test passes, then most likely you would not encounter any stability issues.
GTX 2060 is a solid deal for the price. It has comparable performance to the 1080 when OCed with extra features like ray tracing and DLSS.
SSD is essential and I am doing fine with a 500GB SSD as my only drive. You really do not need a lot of space if you just want to game. If you are editing photos or videos then its another thing. I also mostly play one game (offline story sort) at a time so space is not much of an issue.
If you have space, do not buy a gaming laptop. Go for a medium budget gaming desktop (maybe mATX or miniITX form factor), buy a second cheap laptop (only if you really need it) with a small processor which would inevitably mean a long battery life and put an SSD on the laptop. You will be sorted.
Offtopic but- underclock your laptop cpu and gpu using ThrottleStop and Afterburner to increase performance and battery life.
Credits: u/warriorpush for getting the GPU and for picking up parts and building the system along with me I would love to answer questions and listen to suggestions. Please feel free to ask as many questions as possible. Also, DM me if anyone needs help with their build or is shy to ask here.

The IEO was oversold by over 25X! Here are the questions and answers we have recorded to share with you. 1) Can you briefly explain TokenTuber to us? TokenTuber is a curated video content platform combined with a token economy that initially targets blockchain novices and crypto traders globally. TokenTuber combines concepts from platforms like YouTube and Steemit with lessons from building cryptocurrencies and their communities. All contributors of the TokenTuber platform can expect to be rewarded fairly for their contributions. 2) Why did you guys start TokenTuber? We are trying to lower the barriers to entry for novices and create mass adoption for blockchain and cryptocurrency, hoping one day that everyone who has heard about blockchain or bitcoin will have and use cryptocurrency. 3) How does TokenTuber work? Anyone can upload a blockchain/crypto related video by submitting a Youtube URL on TokenTuber, and anyone can invite the video producers to claim their videos. Each video will have certain value (TUBER) associated with it depending on how many upvotes the video gets, each user can upvote 5 videos a day for the videos they like. The more viral the video is, the more TUBER the video producer will get, and so will those users who upvoted that video. TokenTuber will collaborate with YouTube instead of competing, and will redirect all these video links back to YouTube. TokenTuber’s token is called TUBER, and will be used to pay out all the platform’s rewards. 4) What can users gain from TokenTuber? TokenTuber will reward all platform contributors, whether its content creation, content discovery (upvote + investment game to top videos), or content curation (report of inappropriate videos). Also, users will have access to curated content specifically designed to educate users on all topics in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space. 5) What’s TUBER’s tokenomics and what is the utility of TUBER? Besides the behavior mining mentioned above that rewards all contributors, we designed a feature called “The Investment Game” where users will need to use TUBER. Users can invest in videos using TUBER to pin the video they like in the TOP category for 24 hours, thus increasing video’s exposure. Users who invest will have a chance to earn TUBER if there are follow-up investors in the same video. This innovative feature is first of its kind and will be released before end of this year. 6) Does TokenTuber have any partnerships that you would like to share? We currently have 3 strategic partnerships and have announced two of them. One with SoPay, a crypto payments service platform and one with Quarkchain, a blockchain based on sharding technology. You can read about these partnerships and our other announcements here: https://www.tokentuber.com/announcement/ I will also explain a bit later how we partner with exchanges to form an exchange alliance. Stay tuned as we announce further partnerships! 7) Can you share more about your marketing plans going forward? Our first big campaign will be the Crypto Beginner Quiz, similar to the concept of a driver’s license test. Those who fail the quiz are discouraged from holding crypto assets and we encourage them to learn more on TokenTuber first. We want to challenge users to see if they have what it takes to be an ‘Accredited Crypto Holder’. To make this quiz viral, we have set a 10K USD prize pool for the top 100 people who share the quiz. You can learn more here: https://www.tokentuber.com/quiz. What’s exciting is that we started this exchange alliance concept so the questionnaires can be designed with the top exchanges together. We hope that the traders will have the necessary knowledge before they begin trading. We will be partnering with major Crypto Youtube KOLs as well, also big media is coming. Stay tuned. 8) Can you tell us more about TokenTuber’s roadmap? You can see the image below of our upcoming roadmap and major milestones. https://preview.redd.it/wmlw9dlujop31.png?width=864&format=png&auto=webp&s=278431872ecf20801189b069d07c456a956ec506 9) Have you planned to hold a meeting in Russia recently? Currently we are busy working with online KOL’s and haven’t yet done anything offline yet, but we do welcome anyone who has offline resources to join our global ambassador partnership program. 10) How many users do you currently have? Did the community know you a lot? We currently just started the marketing effort this month because our beta product was launched earlier this month, but we believe the user base will ramp up quite quickly due to our first viral marketing campaign of crypto beginner quiz. 11) As I know Contentos is also a content reward platform and listed on Binance already. So, do you think they will be a big competitor of TokenTuber? How is your project out standing compared to it or other projects which has same functions like this? It appears to me that Contentos is competing with Steemit, not us, because our mission and vision are different. We are purely focused on delivering blockchain and crypto content to lower the barriers to entry for novices, see my AMA response for Question 2 regarding mission and vision and why we started TokenTuber. 12) What are the biggest challenges you expect to face and how do you plan to overcome these challenges? Biggest challenge is fake accounts and bots that come and claim our giveaways/tokens, and we are designing over 10 ways to block them. 13) Your tagline is “TokenTuber — Your gateway to the crypto world.” Will this prevent you from focusing solely on Crypto — a market with too few people interested in stocks or forex? Currently, the crypto market has very limited users, around 50 million crypto holders globally, what we are trying to accomplish is to tap into the mass market of 5 billion+ potential crypto holders whom have already heard about the blockchain/bitcoin buzz word, yet they are finding themselves with high barriers to entry or many doubts. So the educational component is a must to help these potential users to join into the crypto world, and we hope to be the first portal to help them accomplish this step. 14) With YouTube being so popular nowadays, can you develop it according to your own roadmap or merge? Yes, Youtube is currently the most popular video education portal for the crypto world, but it’s not optimized for the crypto audience. Let’s say you search for EOS, and you will get results of a Canon eos camera. I think TokenTuber and Youtube can co-exist but we will have more curated videos with a better tag system for the crypto world, where Youtube will be a complete database of all videos, so users shall find our platform to be more efficient and effective to learn about crypto 15) Why did you choose Hotbit for IEO? We chose Hotbit for a reason, I am also an investor myself, when I put on my investment hat and spoke with different exchange’s founders and management teams, I found that Hotbit is the next potential dark horse. They are very low profile yet their trading volume stats are already in top 20 on Coingecko after removing all the wash trading volumes. Also many of my friends in the crypto space recommended Hotbit and I personally met with the CEO of Hotbit and we enjoyed our chats. There are multiple reasons and we ended up picking Hotbit as our first exchange to partner with out of 5 exchanges that I am personally well connected with. Cambodia’s Damoasun Co. Ltd. Chooses Tokenization With The NASGO Blockchain To Launch Damoasun Casino
HONG KONG — (BusinessWire) — As a step in its ongoing vision to make tokenization accessible and pervasive for everyone, in every part of the world, NASGO, www.Nasgo.com, a fast-growing Blockchain ecosystem, has announced its selection by Cambodian gaming company Damoasun Co. Ltd. for online and offline tokenization of the new Damoasun casino and popular online casino application (www.DamoasunCasino.app). Damoasun has been growing rapidly since its inception in Cambodia in November 2018. The deal is a further step in NASGO’s effort to support businesses and consumers throughout the world as announced in a series of partnerships and celebrations in January 2019 in Vietnam, China, Korea, Cambodia and Palau. NASGO’s selection by Damoasun was formalized this week in a signing ceremony on May 3 between NASGO cofounders Eric Tippetts and Stephen Jiang, Damoasun’s founders, joined by Cambodia’s Minister of Interior, Pol. General Sok. Market data from Statista estimates the global online gambling industry, worth $45.8B in 2017, will soar to $94.4B in USD by 2024. While many regions are driving the significant growth in this sector, the casino and gaming industry is a particularly strong sector in Cambodia that is currently producing as much as $56M per year. “Cambodia has the potential to set the blueprint for online gambling in Asia,” notes a recent article in Totally Gaming magazine. Through tokenization, online gaming businesses gain the ability to reach a vastly larger audience of customers throughout the world and gain the ability to create much more revenue and to do so with full transparency and efficiency, which is vital for compliance and safety. Likewise, live casinos gain efficiency and accuracy, as winnings register immediately and are no longer dependent on the customer’s ability to produce a hardcopy players card and the casino’s need to authenticate and process results. NASGO also brings the ability for the gaming industry in every location to expand further by facilitating online/offline revenue creation through the VAPR augmented reality app. VAPR transmits gaming experiences and transactions via satellite transmissions (similar to Pokemon Go) which creates the ability for casino operators to gamify customer experiences for increased loyalty and retention. Gamers participate through utilizing the NSG token, bringing revenue instantly and transparently to Damoasun, further enhancing the company’s continuing income and growth. The tokenization of Damoasun Co. Ltd. is one of the newest steps in a series of events that have marked stunning growth since NASGO’s formal inception in March 2018. Since then, the company has become pervasive in the U.S. and in a growing number of countries throughout the world, including the recent partnerships announced in China, Vietnam, Korea, Cambodia and Palau. More than 800 small businesses, enterprises and even a global retailer with more than 2,500 stores have expanded their offerings through tokenization on the NASGO platform so far. The company’s NSG token joined the BitForex Exchange on January 19 of this year and is experiencing significant growth. “NASGO’s growth is only beginning,” said Tippetts. “This is a vision we have held for a number of years — to create diversified, applied blockchain available and pervasive to everyone, in all nations, as a means of advancing their businesses, supporting their chosen philanthropies and giving new strength to industries and economies in every part of the world.”
Cryptocurrency is essentially digital money traded from one person to another through the use of pseudonyms. There are no intermediaries like banks, no governmental oversight or authority, and no fees. The “crypto” in cryptocurrency refers to the use of cryptography to ensure the security and privacy of every transaction. New coins are created through a technique called mining. The process requires powerful computers that solve complex math problems. Each problem should take about 10 minutes to solve, and results in the creation of a predetermined number of coins. The total number of coins that can be created is fixed — there’s a limit of 21 million bitcoins that can be created. The number of coins rewarded for solving each problem dwindles as time goes on. Bitcoin is believed to have been created in 2009 by Satoshi Nakamoto, an enigmatic figure who has so far proven all but impossible to definitively identify. By using cryptography to control the creation and tracking of a digital currency, Nakamoto took that power away from central authorities like governments. Bitcoin was the first and most famous digital currency, but you can choose from more than 1,500, including ether, litecoin and even cryptokitties. For awhile, you saw these currencies only in the darkest corners of the internet, where people used them for all sorts of questionable, even illegal, activities. Drug dealers liked them because they made transactions all but invisible, and trolls at the Kremlin-backed Internet Research Agency used bitcoin to finance their campaign to influence the 2016 election. That started to change in 2014, when Overstock became the first major US retailer to accept bitcoin. Companies like Expedia and Microsoft followed suit. One of the biggest misconceptions about cryptocurrencies is that you need thousands of dollars to invest. It’s an easy assumption to make, especially in the case of bitcoin, which stayed under $1,000 from about 2010 to 2017. But then it took off, surpassing thousand-dollar milestones at a pace that seemed quicker than you could refresh your phone. The staggering value is off-putting to many. But unlike most stocks, you can buy a fraction of a bitcoin so you don’t need thousands to get into the crypto game.

Masternode and Proof of Work X11 Blockchain Wolfcoin Blockchain with X11 Proof of Work Mining and Masternode Reward Systems The Wolfcoin blockchain and network are both designed and engineered to ensure store of value, transactional speed and security, and fungibility. The main goal of the Wolfcoin blockchain is to facilitate fast and secure transactions with a governance that helps sustain the network for the benefit of all users. The Wolfcoin blockchain is a two-tier network comprised of a Proof of Work (PoW) consensus mechanism powered by miners and a Proof of Service (PoSe) system powered by masternodes. The Wolfcoin blockchain is secured through Proof of Work (PoW) in which miners attempt to solve difficult problems with specialized computers. When a problem is solved, the miner receives the right to add a new block to the blockchain. If the problem was solved correctly, the miner is rewarded once the block is added. The second tier, which is powered by masternodes, enables Wolfcoin to facilitate private and instant transactions with Private Send and Instant Send. Masternodes are also rewarded when miners discover new blocks. The block reward is distributed with 80% going to the masternodes and 20% going to miners. The masternode system is referred to as Proof of Service (PoSe), since the masternodes provide crucial services that support the features of the network. Masternodes also oversee the network and have the power to reject improperly formed blocks from miners. If a miner tried to take the entire block reward for themselves, the masternode network would orphan the block ensuring that it would not be added to the blockchain. In short, miners power the first tier, which is the basic sending and receiving of funds and prevention of double spending. Masternodes power the second tier, which provide the added features that make Wolfcoin different from other cryptocurrencies. Masternodes do not mine, and mining computers cannot serve as masternodes. Additionally, each masternode is “secured” by 10,000 WOLF. Those WOLF remain under the sole control of their owner at all times. The funds are not locked in any way; however, if enough of the funds are moved or spent to cause the user’s holdings to drop below 10,000 Wolfcoin, the associated masternode will go offline and stop receiving rewards. By pre-ordering your WolfpackBOT subscription, you will also receive Wolfcoin as a reward that can be utilized in the following ways:
Redeemable for WolfpackBOT subscriptions
Redeemable for the WolfBOX Console
Redeemable for WolfpackBOT and Wolfcoin apparel and merchandise
Fungible utility that can be exchanged for like value on exchanges
When you hold at least 10,000 Wolfcoin in your Wolfcoin wallet connected to a static IP address, you will become a masternode, meaning you will have a chance to receive 80 percent of the block reward every sixty seconds.

Hi there, Please don't be discouraged about me being a new account. I am a reader, its just in my nature to not really post anything, i tend to just lurk around. And looking at other threads/posts I know how you guys don't really take new accounts serious. Im a 24 year old sinology bachelor, currently studying for one year in Kunming, China at the Yunnan Normal University. My story with bitcoins began like 7 years or so ago when my father showed me an article about bitcoins. quite new back then. He though it was worth getting interested in the technology but back then I didnt really have anything to invest, not did i really care that much for investment(lifes good when you have nothing but games on your mind) I finally wanted to get into bitcoins around 4 years ago, i think it was the time when one bitcoin was around 800 dollars. I wanted to invest the money I had saved up over the years, i didnt really travel, had no real expenses just earned some money here and there in online games, especially Entropia Universe(which was kinda a virtual casino back in the good days, had a lot of luck too :)) I had just began my Chinese studies in Poland. At first my investment was a complete horror, i couldnt focus, couldnt do anything really but to check the bitcoin prices. But the price kept going up, which did make me happy, up untill 1200... when it crashed. I did panic sell as soon as I realized what had happened, did make a small loss, but looking further i did the right thing as bitcoin had crashed to 200 dollars, couldve been much worse. I had lost confidence in bitcoin, despite having read a ton about it all i really wanted was some inner peace, as it was nerve wrecking. 2 years later I once again decided to get into bitcoins, the price was at around 400 dollars, still cheaper than at what I had bought it at first. However, I used the polish exchange bitcurex. I had invested around 20000 polish zloty, which at that time was around 6600 dollars i believe. I never sent the bitcoins to a wallet because in the back of my head kept lurking the situation from 2 years before, that i might be forced to panic sell to avoid huge losses. That was a mistake the exchange shut down, along with my investment. As you can probably imagine, it took me a long time to get over the fact. I did my best to totally avoid anything bitcoin related, begged others to never mention them to me again. I did get over it... untill it exploded. The prices After the news of Japan legalizing it just kept going up, it became ridiculous, i wanted to get back in but in the back of my head kept lurking the crash from 2014, mentally disabling me. Guess how I felt constantly calculating what i could have had, basically allowing me to live my life without any financial worries. Every day it just destroyed me. I became obsessed with the bitcoin price, hating myself for not doing anything. I didn't really save up much more since the time of the bitcurex shut down but I did have an euro savings account which my grandmother set up for an emergency. There was around 4000 euro on it, it took me a while but seeing as the price surged upwards i just figured it might be better invested in bitcoins, of course knowing that IF something happens im sure I could figure a way to get the money back. This time i chose bitmarket.pl also a polish exchange accepting euros, also easy to get into, you can transfer money into the exchange after verifying with your passport. I did of course read a lot about the exchange making sure it wont let me down like bitcurex. The fear of the crash in the back of my head got weak as i justified the price rise to japans legalization and didnt really think that a crash could happen. I was convinced it would keep going up not down. And it did go up, again I couldnt focus on absolutely anything but the bitcoin price, totally obsessed with graphs, every news and so on. After a few stressfull days, i kept getting calmer as i already was having a profit. But, the price crashed again, and again i sold, again with a loss. Well, discouraged again, i hated myself for trusting bitcoins, and i hated bitcoins, mainly because of the mass of nerve wrecking pain they gave me, feeling it everywhere, from head to toe, nerves going haywire. Anyways, the last part, bear with me, this is where the shit hits the fan. Since the first crash after japan i took a break, again. I didnt think the stress was worth any amount of money, seriously, it destroyed me and consumed me. I did not withdraw the money from the exchange as i wanted to wait for the crash to settle and maybe buy back in. Although I was ready to withdraw right away really, i kept holding... cash :p. It didnt seem right to withdraw less than I invested. I became obsessed with graphs, with bitcoin news. Staring at the damn things for hours, checking them as soon as i remember. They were there, in the back of my head.... all the time. i figured it wasnt worth it, i knew how much it would consume me if i had money invested and I had just a few months to finally get my bachelors degree. I observed the market over the next months, hurting inside for not doing anything, but i was happy without the stress these things gave me over the years, maybe it was meant to be. But... end of october i came across the news about yet another hard fork, the mid november fork. It seemed obvious to me that the price would go up so I once again, one month ago, decided to finally just go for it again. This time using a feature of the exchange, the forex. I called all my friends and family and scraped together around 21k polish zloty. For that I bought my bitcoins at around 23.5. I used the exchange for a loan so in total i had 150k invested. It went well, thankfully, and as soon as i heard of the fork cancelling i decided to sell and be done with it. It was a success, I was happy for making some money, happy i could share with friends and family. Feeling i god damn deserved a reward for all the stress and time invested in this. Finally feeling a sense of accomplishment. However, my current studies in China suffered majorly, again... couldnt really focus on these damn chinese characters. Its nowhere near as much as it could have been with the funds lost to bitcurex, hell i probably could also show off with a tesla right now(which i most definitely would not have, i had other plans, moving to new zealand) I was done there and then, but i kept looking at the graphs, seeing the crash, then the huge rise, then the news and this super legends prediction of 15k by the end of this year. After 10k people stopped believing in a crash, even here on the reddit forums.. I decided to go for it again, i waited a long time though, the bitcoin price was at 9800 dollars when i decided to buy in again. It hurt, considering i could have done it earlier, but i was so stressed out i needed the rest, even if it meant not making money. But the guilt of not acting got to me. Trying to make up for lost time and having imagined the possibilities what could be achieved with a bigger amount of money i invested everything i earned from the previous gains. I again set up the forex, investing a total of 300k. It didnt seem real to me that any real crash on the polish exchange could happen. By the time finex reached 10500 the polish exchange was still like 3k polish zloty behind, which did seem like a lot. It was even more for the japanese, which was over 5k ahead. It seemed like a good time to go in. So I did, this time confident, after the polish exchange price went from 35k to 39k i didnt really think it could affect my loans. Then I saw the crash happening, the huge red candle. like 4000 bitcoins sold on finex in just a minute. I saw it from minute 1, being obsessed with graphs Ive been staring at them most of the time for the past weeks, ... huge candle, still time to sell on the polish exchange... and then my VPN disconnected (Nord VPN), all i managed to sell was one forex order before the disconnect, it didnt take long for it to reconnect but it was too late, the polish exchange went nuts, absolutely nuts, the price dropped from 39k to 31k in less than 5 minutes, it was so clogged that I barely could refresh the site. What does that mean for me? Well, all my loans got cancelled, within 5 minutes, i went from almost 2 bitcoins to 0, Yeah 5 minutes was all it took for the exchange to lose 1/4 of the price HOW?? it was still at least 5k behind japan and 3k behing america WHY?? And all I really needed for the exchange was to drop 2k less, it all just seemed wrong, so wrong. The exchange is also offline as I write this. This is a screenshot which i send to my cousin, who also is my best friend shortly before the crash asking if I should sell, http://i68.tinypic.com/28saers.png what might sound unbelievable, his sister was giving birth, today, so he wasnt here for the crash, nor could he have given me advice, but he was there for the birth of the baby. Its all good though we wanted to put half of the earned bitcoins into an account for the new child, it was my idea too. So the day aint all that bad right? right? Maybe it was all equivalent exchange, I had to lose for it to gain, the price had to be paid? Gotta get these excuses rolling to justify what happened. Here is my conversation with my cousin, i sent him the pic of my bitcoins at basically the same time he told me his sister is giving birth. All just a few minutes before the crash. Its in polish though, if you understand it :p Now the fun part, i felt relieved, so relieved you cant imagine, these bitcoins consumed my live for the past years, consumed my thoughts, hell i had dates i cancelled because i saw market instability... I felt relieved that there is no way back, so relieved and free from this addiction, unfortunately that feeling didnt last... In the end bitcoins kicked me in the nuts, well, maybe I did myself, maybe the panic sellers on the polish exchange did, maybe the exchange itself manipulated fools like me, hell, i dont really want to think about it anymore, i want my peace of mind, but it aint that easy, not with having lost all my money. I did have plans, but these dont matter anymore, what matters is the money I have promised to others, I do want to pay them back I just think its not fair, not considering how much time, how much stress i invested into them. This cannot be, at least for now I cant comprehend what just happened. I hope I didnt write too much, it does help though. I just feel i needed to get this out there To all the new guys, loans on exchanges are a dangerous thing, my friend not so long ago lost a ton of money by using them betting on oil prices, should have listened, all it took him was one night to lose all his too. I guess you should listen to the majority and just HODL what you have and be happy with it, and definitely dont waste your nerves like I did, looking back now... I dont know... it seems kinda ridiculous. Oh and the baby, yep, all healthy and ugly. If you can and believe me, feel free to, if not, good luck either way. I do not plan to continue trading like a did, i just want to lose the sense of extreme loss, its devastating. Its actually 4am here in China, started writing this because I cant really sleep, and probably wont for the night. 12A3qkh9ykjqwkvUPSY32zaERx75dzbZCG
Many of us enjoy playing poker with the friends, colleagues or just random people as it is quite a fun way to spend time. However, there are actually people that make their living out of poker. There are quite many sources that describe the earnings of the poker players and their net worth, but so far it seems that the top 5 richest poker players (whose income is mostly driven by the winnings) are:
5 – Joe Hachem ($11.8 million)
4 – Sam Trickett ($16.6 million)
3 – Erik Seidel ($17.2 million)
2 – Antonio Esfandiari ($22.9 million)
1 – Phil Ivey ($100 million)
Even though the biggest tournaments are happening offline, the largest volumes are dealt in various online poker rooms. It may be quite challenging to become a poker millionaire without winning one of the main poker events, yet there are many people that can afford luxurious life simply by playing a few dozens of hands each day. However, today we will not be looking at the poker players, but we are going to focus on the poker industry from the insider’s perspective and see how quickly it can be changed in the future. A quick overview Throughout the history, online poker industry has been dominated by the PokerStars brand, and the only company that was competing with it was FullTilt poker. However, in mid 2011 FullTilt went bankrupt and was acquired by PokerStars. Since then, its leadership has been disputed. Today, there are many online casino brands launching their own poker rooms, yet when combined they are taking a much smaller market share than PokerStars. However, there are quite some drastic changes coming up and it does seem that even PokerStars may not be ready. Europe represents the largest market for online poker and recently there were some regulations passed regarding online gambling. While those laws actually make internet gambling legal, they come with such harsh requirements that many companies have decided to simply skip these markets and focus on their operations in the other countries. Apart from that, the technology behind the online poker rooms has been lacking some development when it is compared against the other companies in the iGaming sector or other sectors of Information Technology. Today we are going to explain you how Cash Poker Pro can tackle all of these issues and become a successful competitor of PokerStars in the very near future. But before we begin, let us quickly tell you what Cash Poker Pro is all about. Cash Poker Pro in a nutshell Cash Poker Pro (or CPP for short) is an online poker room that is available through various instant messengers (such as Whatsapp, Telegram, WeChat etc) and also as a web app. It lets people play poker online using a decentralised technology. Yes, we are talking blockchain here. Considering the CPP’s technology, it can operate in any possible location as long as at least one of the supporter messenger apps is available there. Besides that, CPP deliver a great level of transparency and trust, as there is absolutely no way the company can manipulate the results of the game. Finally, CPP can provide great gaming experience at the fraction of the costs when compared to any other alternative on the market. Now let’s take a look at how exactly it will revolutionise the world of online poker. Available anywhere Cash Poker Pro is designed to be available at any possible device, at any possible location, and at any possible jurisdiction. These are the main reasons that landed Cash Poker Pro a title of the best October’s ICO at ForexNewsNow rating. There are a few challenges faced by the iOS and Android developers. First of all, it is pretty damn hard to design the apps that deliver identical experience. In most of the cases, one of the OS will receive an inferior version. Secondly, the hardware itself is quite an issue. This is why it is so common to see unsupported apps in the Play Market or App Store when using a dated device. Finally, it is still up to Google and Apple to allow the listing of your application, and in most of the cases, you will not be allowed to bring in a gambling app into the Store. Cash Poker Pro eliminates this barrier by letting the players participate in the game via the messaging apps. Such apps are available in every country, no matter whether online poker is allowed or prohibited there. Besides that, all of the smart-type of the devices support the messaging apps as those are the core component. Considering that CPP is decentralised, it can operate in all of the dark, grey and regulated areas likewise. Keen to invest? Not only CPP is great for the players, it is also amazing for the possible investors. Unlike all of the old fashioned companies, CPP gives you an opportunity to become a partial owner of the poker room by purchasing the tokens during Cash Poker Pro ICO. It is based on Ethereum and it has already been backed by 400,000 USD of investments during the pre-ICO stage. Its goal is to raise 30,000,000 USD by selling 60,000,000 tokens under the symbol CASH.

iGaming sector is composed of online casinos, betting companies, bingo, lotteries, poker rooms, and any other services that somehow let people to participate in the games of chance online. This sector has been growing ever since it appeared and it is only expected to prosper in the foreseeable future. Let’s take a look at why so many people prefer online gambling to offline. Shift towards digitalisation This is not only the gaming sector that is changing, the whole world around us is progressing at the rapid speed and the way people used to do things just a few years ago is completely different from how it looks now. People no longer prefer to order their clothes, electronics, and even food via offline channels. Instead of this, they opt out for online shopping. Something as simple as dialing a number, telling your address and waiting for the transportation to arrive has been substituted by just tapping your phone just a few times. Yes, we are talking about Uber and other ridesharing apps here. It is clear that the consumers are choosing digital means of doing things simply because they are more effective, faster, cheaper, transparent, or all of the above. And this is where online gambling excels: it offers great gaming experience, amazing bonuses, high quality support, and all of these features are available from the comfort of your couch. Privacy concerns Nowadays, the consumers are concerned about their privacy as much as never before. We have already covered the digitalisation aspect, yet those are not only the consumers that benefit from it, but also the advertisers, financial institutions, governmental agencies, and many more. Hence, people are becoming more careful about the data they share and who they share it with. People are no longer careless about what other known about them. This is especially true when things are as sensitive as they are with gambling. A poker player or a lottery fan can often be misjudged by various credit rating agencies and financial institutions, and this is the main reason why people prefer to hide their habits. Apart from that, gambling is popular because it gives people a sense of winnings. And sometimes these winnings can be very, very large. However, when people gamble offline and win big, their identities are known and this can lead to all sorts of unpredictable consequences. With online gambling the privacy is much more enhanced and this is one of the key points about the industry. Flexibility of the payment systems The times of a single payment system, the cash, have passed. We are slowly moving to the cashless society era, and while we are moving in this direction, the variety of the available payment methods is increasing. Some 30 years ago people were mostly using cash or checks for their transactions. 20 years ago wire transfers became the thing. They were quickly substituted with an introduction of the credit and debit cards. However, things are very different today. People no longer choose how they want to make a transaction, but they also decide about the kind of the currency they want to use. When playing at a regular offline casino, you have one option - cash. Online casinos are able to offer you all types of possible top up options. It is pretty clear that online gambling operators are much more oriented towards the millennial customer, yet not all of them will be successful in the coming years. Let’s find out why. What separates iGaming operators? Even though today most of the iGaming operators offer more or less very similar products, things will not stay like this for long. Most of such operators are not having their proprietary technology, and this is the core reason why things have been going slowly. However, in the online business the technology is the main separator. Considering the recent legal updates and the restrictions coming out from various governments, many iGaming operators are not expected to sustain their market share to say the least. The new era is coming We do see some rapid developments going on in the industry, and today we are going to illustrate how a company called Cash Poker Pro is shaping the future of the online poker rooms with its cross-platform software. Unlike all of the poker rooms, Cash Poker Pro (top gambling company of October 2017 by ForexNewsNow) is not developing its applications as standalone software (the one that needs to be installed). Instead of it, the company caters to the rapidly growing layer of our population - the millennials. Those boys and girls are the ones that are spending hours in front of their smartphones, and they are also the ones that will constitute the major of our workforce in the next few years. What are the most popular apps amongst the millennials? Right, the messengers: Whatsapp, Facebook messenger, Snapchat etc. And Cash Poker Pro is releasing a poker room that is available within the messengers themselves. This is an absolutely new way to look into the digitalisation and disruption. As Cash Poker Pro is based on the blockchain technology, it offers some great transparency to the players while it also supplies the bulletproof privacy. On top of that, the gaming balance is connected directly with the cryptocurrency wallets. This eliminates the need of controlling your cash and the second party of the transaction. Last but not least, Cash Poker Pro does not come with a great flexibility in the payment systems as it simply cannot support all of the possible ways of topping up due to its technology. This is, however, the price one has to pay for the enhanced privacy, instant withdrawals and tons of other benefits. What’s can be better? The only thing that can be better than playing at the innovative poker room is owning one. And Cash Poker Pro gives you this opportunity too. Currently, it is undergoing an investing stage through an ICO and everyone is welcome to participate. By the way, first investors get bonuses.
